When Koenigsegg, a world-leading manufacturer of high-performance sports cars, was building its showroom at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England, they chose Wood on Wall to deliver the aesthetics and quality required to match their exclusive cars. Their showroom not only needed to reflect the innovative and exclusive brand that Koenigsegg itself exudes, but also needed an environment that enhanced the experience for each visitor. With a careful combination of function and form, Wood on Wall, together with Koenigsegg, created an atmosphere that not only enhanced the beauty of the cars, but also enhanced the visitor experience through superior acoustics and design. The selected acoustic panels in walnut and the design panels in black lacquered oak, added both warmth and sophistication, creating an elegant contrast to the high-tech cars.
The result
We carefully selected panels that reflected innovation and luxury. Their showroom received design and acoustic panels that both contributed to a sophisticated and welcoming environment. The acoustic panels were strategically placed to optimize the sound environment, while the black lacquered oak panels provided a powerful visual contrast that highlighted Koenigsegg’s iconic cars.
By integrating beauty with functionality, we were able to highlight how technology can go hand in hand with superior design. The result was an environment that reflected the Koenigsegg brand.
Proud to have been part of the project
The images from the project show how the panels were seamlessly integrated into the environment. It became a perfect symbiosis between traditional craftsmanship and modern technology, represented both through the handmade cars and the custom-made interior.
