When a real estate agency in the prestigious Norra Tornen residential project in Stockholm needed to create an exclusive and tailored indoor environment, they chose Wood on Wall to deliver acoustic solutions that combined modern aesthetics with functionality. The stylish architecture and innovative expression of the building required an interior that both enhanced the visual experience and created a comfortable, sound-optimized environment.
Norra Tornen has won the prestigious International High Rise Awards for the world's most innovative high-rise building in 2020, and it was therefore extra fun for us to be involved in a project in the building.
A custom-made modern interior
We created an indoor environment where our craftsmanship complemented the urban houses in a stylish way. The walnut acoustic panels added a warmth and sophistication that contrasted beautifully with the functional and minimalist architecture. The combination of function and aesthetics contributed to an acoustic environment that was both pleasant to the ear and beautiful to the eye – a perfect balance between form and function.
The result
The carefully selected walnut panels reflected Norra Tornen’s vision of sustainable design and high quality. The panels were strategically placed in the common areas to optimize the acoustic environment without compromising the visual integrity. By combining elegance and functionality, we created an environment that was not only inspiring for visitors, but also enhanced the entire experience of the project.
